THE ISSUES OF INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC COOPERATION ARE DISCUSSED IN ASHGABAT

On June 12, 2018, the two-day International Conference "Science, Techniques and Innovative Technologies", timed to the Day of Science, started its work in Ashgabat.

Scientists, teachers and young specialists from Turkmenistan, as well as representatives of scientific circles from more than thirty countries, including Russia, USA, Japan, the Republic of Korea, China, Great Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Bangladesh, Turkey, Iran, Finland, Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Latvia, Estonia, Ukraine and others participated in the conference.

The plenary meeting was held at Oguz Khan Engineering and Technology University. The participants of the forum listened with great attention to the welcoming Address of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

The reports were devoted to the actual theoretical and practical issues of the introduction of advanced developments in various fields - from energy to environmental. The forum participants emphasized that the international scientific conference held in Ashgabat has become an effective platform for the exchange of experience, activation of contacts between domestic and foreign scientists from the world’s largest research institutes.

In the speeches of foreign delegates, emphasis was placed on the prospects for cooperation with representatives of scientific circles of our country on such topical areas as nanotechnology, computer technology, the development of new materials, energy, biotechnology, molecular biology, agriculture, ecology and genetics, information and communication systems, technologies of production of modern medical and medicinal products, innovative economy, humanities.

The guests of the forum also took part at the awarding ceremony of the winners of the scientific contest of young Turkmen scientists, held at the Turkmen State University named after Makhtumkuli.

On June 13 the conference will continue its work in the format of sectional meetings. The meetings of the participants of the forum are planned with the faculty and students of the capital's higher educational institutions as well as employees of scientific research institutions of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan. An extensive cultural program is also planned to familiarize the guests with the sights of Ashgabat.
