Festive Turkmen symbols at Independence Square of Kuala Lumpur

At the initiative of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Malaysia, in honor of Day of the Constitution of Turkmenistan and the Day of National Flag of Turkmenistan, as well as in connection with the historical significance of 2025 for the development of independent Turkmenistan — the 30th anniversary of the UN’s recognition of the legal status of Turkmenistan’s Permanent Neutrality and the declaration of this year as the International Year of Peace and Trust, in the city of Kuala Lumpur, on the largest screen in the central Independence Square (Merdeka Square) of Malaysia, on May 19–20, a two-day event is taking place – a colored image of the State Flag of Turkmenistan and the 2025 logo are being demonstrated. 

This event symbolizes Malaysia’s active support for Turkmenistan’s peace-loving and constructive efforts on the international stage, as well as its profound respect for the fraternal Turkmen people and underscores the high level of traditional Turkmen-Malaysian relations.
