The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Niger accredited in Turkmenistan

On 13 November 2025, on instructions of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the Chairwoman of the Mejlis, D.Gulmanova, accepted the credentials of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Niger to Turkmenistan, Seydou Zataou Ali.

On behalf of the Head of state, the head of the national Parliament congratulated the diplomat on his appointment to this responsible post and wished him success in further strengthening friendly relations between the two countries.

Expressing gratitude for the kind words and hospitality extended to him in Turkmenistan, the Ambassador, on behalf of the leadership of the Republic of Niger, conveyed best wishes to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the people of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, the diplomat was briefed on the structure of the Mejlis and its activities aimed at the comprehensive improvement of national legislation, as well as on the main directions of Turkmenistan’s domestic and foreign policy. In this context, it was noted that Turkmenistan is interested in developing constructive cooperation with countries around the world, including those of the African continent.

Expressing gratitude for the fruitful meeting, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Niger, Seidou Zataou Ali, emphasized his great honor to represent his country in Turkmenistan and assured that he will make every effort to strengthen friendly interstate relations.
