INNOVATION AND ENVIRONMENTAL FRIENDLINESS OF THE POLYMER COMPLEX IN KIYANLY IS MARKED BY INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATES
On October 17, 2018, at the opening ceremony of the gas chemical complex in Kiyanly, certificates were handed over confirming the efficiency, innovation and environmental safety of the new production.
The company will annually process 5 billion cubic meters of natural gas, from which 386 thousand tons of high-density polyethylene and 81 thousand tons of polypropylene will be produced. Special attention at this enterprise, which operates on the basis of innovative technologies, is paid to the prevention of harmful effects on the environment, which is achieved through the use of advanced filtration systems for waste gases, their further utilization.
So, the doctor of agronomical and horticultural sciences of the German Institute named after Julius Kühn – Ms. Margit Olle handed the certificate "Innovation and Technology".
Mr. Robert Dubois Morris, Senior Advisor to the Environmental Health Trust (USA), presented the plant management with a certificate for the environmental cleanliness of a large chemical enterprise.
Chairman of the Energy Research Institute of the Institute of Paul Scherrer (Switzerland) Mr. Urs Weidmann presented the certificate “Stability and Efficiency”.
Thanking the guests for the awards and certificates handed over, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that he perceives them as a sign of Turkmenistan’s high international rating, recognition of its success in the use of innovative technologies in the construction of various facilities.
As the head of state emphasized, supporting the efforts of the international community to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, Turkmenistan attaches great importance to the widespread introduction of environmentally friendly and resource-saving technologies in industry, including in the oil and gas, electricity and chemical industries.
