PRESIDENTS OF TURKMENISTAN AND KAZAKHSTAN DISCUSSED THE KEY DIRECTIONS OF BILATERAL COOPERATION

On the 13th of May, 2021, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

Warmly greeting each other, the heads of the states exchanged mutual congratulations on the Oraza Bayramy, expressing confidence that this bright holiday, symbolizing the triumph of such high universal human spiritual values as mercy, humanism, benevolence, moral purity would further promote the strengthening of relations of friendship and brotherhood between the two countries and peoples.

Continuing the conversation, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed satisfaction with the strategic and constructive nature of the interstate dialogue, built on the principles of mutual respect, trust and openness.

It was emphasized that Turkmenistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan had developed successful cooperation in almost all areas of bilateral partnership, including in the political, trade-economic, humanitarian and cultural spheres, where there is an impressive potential for fruitful interaction on a long-term basis.

The leaders of the two countries expressed confidence that the traditionally friendly Turkmen-Kazakh relations will continue to develop dynamically in the spirit of good-neighborliness and mutually beneficial cooperation.

At the end of the telephone conversation, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev once again exchanged congratulations on Oraza Bayramy, wishing each other health and success, and the fraternal peoples of Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan - peace, well-being and prosperity.
