MEETING BETWEEN THE AMBASSADOR OF TURKMENISTAN AND THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER OF CYBERSECURITY MALAYSIA

On October 22, 2024, a meeting took place between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan, M. Mashalov, and the Chief Executive Officer of CyberSecurity Malaysia, Dato’ Dr. Haji Amirudin Bin Abdul Wahab.

The Ambassador discussed the work of the State Group for Ensuring Cybersecurity in Turkmenistan and emphasized the importance of Malaysia's experience in this field, urging the Malaysian side to enhance cooperation. The Malaysian representatives acknowledged the growing significance of cybersecurity globally and expressed their interest in further developing collaboration.

During the discussion, plans were outlined for conducting training seminars as part of the Malaysian Cooperation Program in Cybersecurity (MTCP) and for preparing agreements on mutual understanding. At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed their readiness for continued effective cooperation and thanked each other for the open and constructive atmosphere.
