TURKMENISTAN AMBASSADOR TO MALAYSIA MET WITH PRESIDENT OF THE UNIVERSITY OF MALAYA

On 17 May 2024, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur) M. Mashalov met with the President of the University of Malaya, Professor Dato' Seri Ir. Dr. Noor Azuan Bin Abu Osman.

During the meeting the parties discussed issues of strengthening bilateral co-operation in the sphere of education, science and culture, as well as expansion of ties and exchange of experience between educational institutions of the two countries.

At the end of the meeting, they discussed the declaration of 2024 in Turkmenistan as the year of "Fount Of Wisdom Magtymguly Fragi" and the and the creation of a literary corner dedicated to the life and works of Magtymguly Fragi at the University of Malaya in honour of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great Turkmen poet and thinker Makhtumkuli Fraghi.
