THE AMBASSADOR OF TURKMENISTAN TO MALAYSIA MET WITH THE HEAD OF THE SOUTH AND CENTRAL ASIA DEPARTMENT OF THE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF MALAYSIA

Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Malaysia M. Mashalov and Head of South and Central Asia Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia Ms. Dr. Shazelin Zainul Abidi met on 28 June 2024.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the issues planned for joint implementation during 2024 in order to further increase the pace of bilateral Turkmen-Malay relations.

Also, the sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in political and diplomatic, trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. In particular, the importance of holding high-level visits between Turkmenistan and Malaysia in 2024 was noted.

At the end of the meeting, it was stressed the importance of the events held in Turkmenistan and abroad dedicated to declaring 2024 in Turkmenistan the year of “The Fount of wisdom of Magtymguly Fragi.”
