THE AMBASSADOR OF TURKMENISTAN TO MALAYSIA MET WITH THE MINISTER OF DEFENSE OF MALAYSIA

On July 25, 2024, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Malaysia, M. Mashalov, met with the Minister of Defense of Malaysia, Dato Seri Mohamed Haled Nordin.

During the meeting, the Ambassador and the Minister of Defense discussed the prospects of bilateral relations, which have great potential.

The Ambassador noted that Malaysia is a close friendly state for Turkmenistan, and the bilateral relations are of long-term and strategic nature. He also emphasized that neutral Turkmenistan implements comprehensive measures to ensure peace and stability based on its defensive military doctrine.

At the end of the meeting, the Ambassador and the Minister of Defense expressed confidence that the traditional friendly interstate cooperation will continue to develop successfully for the benefit and peace of the two friendly countries and the region.
