THE CONFERENCE “TURKMENISTAN-MALAYSIA: 30 YEARS OF DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS” WAS HELD AT THE EMBASSY OF TURKMENISTAN IN MALAYSIA

On May 20, 2022, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Malaysia held the Conference “Turkmenistan-Malaysia: 30 Years of Diplomatic Relations” dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of Diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Malaysia.

The conference was attended by officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia, Ambassadors accredited to Malaysia, diplomats, the Head of Administration of the Institute of Strategic and International Studies of Malaysia, representatives of mass media and local business people.

Opening the conference, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Malaysia noted that since the establishment of diplomatic relations on May 17, 1992, long-term mutually beneficial cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres has been successfully developing between Turkmenistan and Malaysia.

The diplomats speaking at the conference, noting the high efficiency of Turkmenistan's foreign policy, emphasized that the status of permanent Neutrality allows the country to fully implement the policy of regional security and develop good-neighbourly relations in Central Asia.

During the conference, a video film about the achievements of Turkmenistan was shown to its participants.
